Archives collect and preserve original documents of organizations such as churches or governments. Libraries generally collect published sources such as books, maps, and microfilm. This section describes the major repositories of genealogical and historical records and sources for New Zealand. "The project Annotated Turki Manuscripts from the Jarring Collection Online is an effort to provide better access for the public to materials in the Central Asian manuscripts collected by a number of Swedish scholars and donated by Prof. (and Ambassador) Gunnar Jarring to the Lund University Library in : Evyn Kropf.
The Microtext collection is rich in historical documents and publications. It includes a number of African American collections listed below. Black Canadian newspapers on Microfilm are listed in the 'Newspapers' folder. The Microtext collection is located in the Media Commons on the 3rd floor of Robarts Library. Machines are available to read Author: Jesse Carliner. The Guide to the Cataloged Collections in the Manuscript Department of the William R. Perkins Library, Duke University does not contain complete information on the holdings of the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library. Additional access to the Library's holdings may be found in the the Library's Finding Aids, the Duke University.
The Library does have original editions of many of the titles in the microtext series "Landmarks of Science." Cards for books in the series are in Public Catalogue 1. Also consult the record of the exhibition "Two Thousand Years of Science" prepared by Professor M. S. Mahoney in the spring of An online guide to the microfilm is available together with an index of missionaries, and collection information (in Collection List under Papers of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. There is a book in the Houghton Library Reading Room which lists the original paper records and is annotated to indicate which of these are Author: Fred Burchsted.
